Hi all, found a technician with good reviews but said he's been on biz for 2 years. Live in new build, 18 months old and ac on main floor isn't blowing cold air anymore. HVAC guy is still here after almost 4hrs and doesn't seem to know what the issue is yet. Ok so it's been a HOT Sunday in my household. We realized as I left to run errands that it was 5° warmer than it should have been. By the time I got home to check it out, it reached 83° inside. Went through basic troubleshooting and easily found a power line issue… turned out the 60A breaker on the main feed for outside had a bad leg. Went and tracked down a replacement and success! I noticed my outside unit wasn't running, i left it completely off for 30 minutes and tried again, still nothing. Then I reset the breaker and turned it back on at the thermostat again, instantly working and turned back on and it's currently cooling.
